Counterfeit drugs sold in Lebanon: The saga continues

Conterfeit drugs are being sold in Lebanon:The companies accused of having produced the drugs had forged the signature of the Beirut Arab University

تستمر فضيحة الدواء اللبناني المزوّر في التفاعل، خصوصًا بعد توسع التحقيقات وكشفها اليوم عن تورط 15 شركة مستوردة، وليس فقط أربع شركات كما قيل سابقًا. ويتساءل اللبنانيون من يحميهم من سياسيين فسدوا ودولة عجزت؟

Illegal medication imported to Lebanon

Lebanon’s Parliamentary Health Committee chief, Atef Majdalani, uncovered that more than 100 types of untested non-brand name pharmaceuticals were illegally imported into Lebanon. The Minster of Health, Ali Hassan Khalil said that the drugs were confiscated and were withdrawn.

The question remains: what happened to the four pharmaceutical importers? Where any measures taken?
